"Muhammad was Prophet, even before his Prophethood" - Christian Monk

The incident of Prophet Muhammad and the Christian monk is reported in various sources but with different specific details. This event took place in modern-day Bosra, Syria. At the early age of eight years, Prophet Muhammad and his Uncle Abu Talib went on a business trip. There, he encountered a Christian monk, Bahira, who informed him of his prophethood and asked his uncle to take good care of him. Read further as we dive into each and every detail of this account.

Bahira met Muhammad's caravan

According to the major belief among Muslims, Prophet Muhammad first encountered Archangel Gabriel at the age of 40 years and then he officially announced himself as a prophet. However, there were at certain times, certain hints of his prophethood before him announcing his prophethood. One of those events was his encounter with a Christian monk. Prophet Muhammad accompanied by his Uncle Abu Talib bin Abdul Muttalib, went on a business trip to Busra, Syria. Bahira met with their caravan and identified Muhammad and questioned his uncle. Bahira asked whether Muhammad was his son, and Abu Talib replied saying he was Muhammad's uncle. Bahira's curiosity increased realising that Muhammad was an orphan. Muhammad fulfilled major prophecies, one of which was a mark on his body. Bahira identified the mark and confirmed that Muhammad is the same prophet prophesied by Jesus in the Gospels. Apparently, he had the original gospel with him.

The mere presence of Muhammad filled the area with joy. Trees were swinging and clouds followed Muhammad, showing a sign of Muhammad's greatness. These clear signs persuaded the Christian monk to proclaim the prophethood of Muhammad. The monk didn't just stop there, he even asked Abu Talib to return to their place as the Jews of Syria might recognize Muhammad and intentionally hurt him. No doubt, Jews have a history of killing the true Prophets. Bahira further asked Abu Talib to take good care of Muhammad. It is evident from the different accounts that Abu Talib was always by the side of Muhammad. Then there are people who doubt Abu Talib's Islam.

Is Muhammad the awaited prophet described in the Gospel of John and Deuteronomy?

Islam, Judaism and Christianity are the primary three Abrahamic Religions known in this present age. From prophetic figures to holy books, there is much in common between Islamic and Judeo-Christian traditions. It was from the lineage of Abraham that these three religions were formed. Moses and Jesus were the descendants of Isaac, the son of Abraham, whereas Muhammad was the only prophet in his genealogy up to Ishmael. Arabs at the time of Muhammad are often referred to as Ishmaelites and sometimes also the cousins of Israelites. It is because Jacob (Israel) was the son of Isaac, who was the half-brother of Ishmael. Ishmael was the father of Arabs, which makes Arabs distant cousins of the Israelites. Read further in this article as we discuss the described prophet of the Book of Deuteronomy.

Starting with a verse of great significance in the Holy Quran (7:157):

Those who follow the Messenger, the unlettered prophet, whom they find written in what they have of the Torah and the Gospel.

God in the Holy Quran, makes it explicitly clear that there are prophecies of Muhammad even in the corrupted versions of the Torah and the Gospel. For that matter, if we look at the Bible, more prominently at the Gospel of John (1:19-27), we find an interesting incident that took place when some Jewish priests curious about John's identity and his act of baptizing people, asked him whether he was the Prophet. John denied. They asked him if he was Elijah. John denied. They asked him if he was the promised Messiah to which John again denied but hinted at Jesus being the Messiah by saying (John 1:27):

I baptize in water, but among you stands one whom you do not know. It is he who comes after me, the thong of whose sandal I am not worthy to untie.

For sure Jesus was and is the promised Messiah, to whom Jews have turned a blind eye. When Jewish priests asked John a series of questions, they asked him whether he was the prophet. Many famous commentaries on John 1:19-27 mention that Jews were expecting a prophet likewise to Moses who had been already prophesied in Deuteronomy 18:18. The other two holy figures, Elijah and the promised Messiah, whom the Jews were seeking, had already been revealed. When the disciples asked Jesus about Elijah's return in Matthew 17:10-13, Jesus declares John as Elijah:

Jesus replied, 'To be sure, Elijah comes and will restore all things. But I tell you, Elijah has already come, and they did not recognize him, but have done to him everything they wished. In the same way, the son of man is going to suffer at their hands.' Then the disciples understood that he was talking to them about John the Baptist.

If Jesus is the Messiah and John is Elijah, then who is that prophet that Jews were asking John for? This is the prophet who Moses foretold his followers in Deuteronomy 18:18:

I will raise up for them a prophet like you from among their brothers, and I will put my words in his mouth, and he shall speak to them all that I command him.

God told Moses about a prophet, He will raise from among their (Israelites) brothers. Now, some of the English translations of this verse use the words 'among them' but most translations use the words 'among their brethren', whereas there are some translations that mention both sets of words such as the one in Aleppo Codex:

The prophet from among your midst, from your brethren like me, the Lord your God will raise up for you; to him, you shall hearken.

Now the point of concern is; if we suppose here that the only people God is referring to, are Israelites, then the prophet wasn't revealed until Jesus Christ as confirmed by the Jewish priests themselves when they interrogated John. John denied being the prophet and Jesus was the Messiah, even though Christians claim Jesus to be the prophet prophesied by Moses but in no way Jesus is more similar to Moses than Muhammad. Both Moses and Muhammad were leaders of their respective nations. They both suffered significant hardships during their lifetime of prophethood. They both led a huge following during their lifetime. Moses and Muhammad both were lawgivers whereas Jesus continued the previous Jewish law. Muhammad was more similar to Moses than Jesus to Moses. The other thing mentioned in those verses of Deuteronomy is that the prophet won't speak anything of his own but only what God orders him to. Similar words are found in the Holy Quran (53:3-4) about Prophet Muhammad:

Nor does he speak of his own whims. It is only a revelation sent down to him.

If the prophet was to be raised from Israelites, then only words of 'among you' would have justified the prophecy, but the words of 'among your brethren' open a possibility of the prophet being from the Ishmaelites. God also promises Abraham in Genesis 17:20, that his son, Ishmael, will be the father of a great nation and twelve rulers. There isn't much clarity about the twelve rulers mentioned in Genesis but the great nation was for sure, Arabs. The greatness of Arabs only started under the leadership of Muhammad, and the Arab kingdom succeeded and flourished only in Muhammad's name. Before Muhammad, Arabs were a failed and ignorant nation. This is in itself a prophecy for Prophet Muhammad that it was because of Muhammad that the descendants of Ishmael stood up to be a great nation.

Despite his suffering, Saint George remained steadfast in his faith and never wavered in his devotion to God and Christ. Ultimately, he was beheaded for his beliefs and died a martyr. His death even inspired Empress Alexandra, the wife of Diocletian, to accept God and Christ, leading to her sentence of death.

Saint George is highly revered in both Christianity and Islam for his unwavering faith and bravery. He serves as an inspiration to believers of both faiths and a reminder of the power of love and devotion to God.

A Barbaric Jeffrey Dahmer: The Story of Javed Iqbal

The person who made the headlines in Pakistan on Jan 1st, 2000 wasn't anyone other than a serial killer named Javed Iqbal. Javed handed himself to the authorities in a walk-in surrender at a newspaper office. Read further about the motive behind Javed's 100 brutal murders.

Javed Iqbal was a well-settled individual who ran his father's business. There wasn't much going on with his life until one day, Javed craved massage or something else, leading him to appoint a boy to massage at home. Shockingly, Javed tried raping the boy (or raped him). The boy picked up a pistol which was present at Javed's place and hit it at Javed's head. The boy attacked Javed only in his defence but that injury lead to Javed being admitted to the hospital for 5 months. Meanwhile, Javed's mother died. Javed felt that it was the fault of the boy that he wasn't with his mother in her last moments. Javed's rage took over his mind and he decided to bereave 100 children of their mothers.

Javed's gruesome process of murdering his victims started with capturing children of age between 6 and 16 and then raping them. He would then kill each victim and then dismember their body. At last, he would dissolve body parts in acid and throw those parts in the river to vanish any sign of murder. He repeated this process exactly 100 times.

After doing his thing, Javed himself informed DIG Lahore about the murders. Police investigated and surprisingly concluded that Javed was innocent. After not getting the necessary attention from the police, Javed wrote to a newspaper in Lahore precisely on Dec 31st, 1999. The letter included pictures of 75 children he murdered, and a testimony from Javed accepting the crime.

Police departments and authorities were quick to react and launched an operation across the whole of Punjab. Police couldn't find Javed anywhere. Javed escaped every time police tried to reach him. The testimony of Javed and pictures of the children were everywhere on the news. The police found a drum full of human body parts and acid at Javed's house. At last, Javed himself walked into a newspaper office and surrendered. The judge ordered Javed to be persecuted in the same manner as he did his victims. The Judge even called for public punishment in front of the parents of the victims but that verdict was discarded by the government as it didn't fall under the constitution. Javed was sentenced to death. However, after a few days, both Javed and his inmate were found dead in their cell.

This report states that Isaac Newton was a Muslim!

The name Isaac Newton needs no introduction. Being one of the most influential individuals in human history, Newton tops any list of scientists, mathematicians or physicists. Despite being that renowned, many people are unaware that Newton's trajectory of interests was far beyond just mathematics or physics. To anyone's surprise, Newton also invested much of his time in theology. Newton accomplished almost everything in the field of physics but still felt he was missing something much more important. He searched for one true God despite being raised as a Christian. Newton, with time, became aware that the faith he believed in wasn't stable. It wasn't until much later after his death, it was revealed that he identified himself as a Nontrinitarian Monotheist.

When Newton died, in addition to his scientific work, he left a huge collection of his religious work as well, comprising his interpretation and explanation of the Bible. However, Newton's descendants felt that it wasn't the right time to reveal his religious beliefs to the general public as it might hurt Newton's scientific legacy. Newton believed that the doctrine of the Trinity was bogus. Newton insisted that the Church was responsible for the corruption of Biblical texts. When Newton's unorthodox beliefs were made public by the end of the 20th century, scholars were associating him with Nontrinitarian Arians, Socinians or sometimes Unitarians. Newton's beliefs were shockingly much closer to orthodox Muslims than unorthodox Christians. But can we state Newton as a Muslim without any proof of his testimony? Well, there is a distant report present in the Library of Trinity College, Cambridge indicating that Newton believed in Prophet Muhammad. This report can be found in the German language in Correspondence of Sir Isaac Newton and Professor Cotes1. The complete account is translated into the English language as stated below.

On 8th Dec 1773, Swedish Professor Jakob Jonas Björnståhl paid a visit to Amsterdam to meet Fontein Pieter (Anabaptist preacher and scholar of Hemsterhuis and Albert Schultens). Fontein told Björnståhl that in 1738, he made a trip to England and made the acquaintance of the great Bentley (probably Richard Bentley). At Cambridge, he heard various anecdotes about Newton, who had died nine or ten years before, among others: Newton had believed that Muhammad had been sent by God to lead the Arabs back from the darkness and to the belief in a God, etc. (This, at least, the professors or fellows at Cambridge told him as a special curiosity from Newton's story). However, this enlightened man did not believe the fables and miracles occurring in the Koran and Muhammad's life. He told me that Newton had published a treatise to prove that the passage 1 John, v. 7. was not eight, and that the text had a far better context without this verse.

Newton believed that God was one, Christ was not divine, and the doctrine of the Trinity was added to the sacred scripts much later. Collectively saying, these beliefs conclude that Newton might have lived his later part of life as a Muslim. Only God knows better.

The Deadly Dancing Plague of 1518

Seems like a legend, rather than reality, reported numerously, the dancing plague of 1518 is one of the most mysterious events ever reported. A woman just danced for days in the city of Strasbourg. She was joined in by a great number of dancers. People were amazed, shocked, and rather worried by this unnecessary behaviour. Medics and priests were called only to see that the dancers were terrified themselves and wanted to stop, but they couldn't. This shocked everyone and made them realise this wasn't about alcohol. Days and weeks passed, and dancers started to die of exhaustion, literally dying of dancing, hard to believe but that happened. Nobody knew the reason why this was happening. The dance was so captivating that individuals couldn't stop themselves from taking part in it. The dance spread among the people of the city like a plague. Frau Troffea (the woman who initiated the dance) was taken far from the city to a mountain, but it was too late. Over 400 people were affected and were continuously dancing in the city. However, after 2 or 3 months, the dance stopped and the dancers were again normal. Around 100 casualties were reported during this period. No one till day could explain, what took over those people which forced them to dance. Some say it was a sort of demonic possession or divine intervention. Some tried explaining it rationally, calling it a result of 'hot blood'. Similar cases were reported around the world from the 11th century to the 16th century.

This King burned 20,000 people alive

This event took place back in the 6^th century AD, even before the advent of Islam in Arabia. Najran, a city situated in the southwest of Saudi Arabia, was home to the first Christian community in Saudi Arabia. Najran at that time was ruled by a Jewish Himyarite King, Dhu Nuwas. Being Jewish, he didn't like Christians living in his kingdom. This particular event of persecution isn't prominently found in Christian sources, however, it has been hinted at in Quran (Chapter of Constellations). A great amount of detail of this account is found in the collected sayings of Prophet Muhammad. Prophet Muhammad was born just after 50 years of this event.

In the Holy Quran (85:4-10), God says

Condemned are the makers of the ditch, the fire 'pit' filled with fuel when they sat around it, watching what they had 'ordered to be' done to the believers, who they resented for no reason other than belief in God—the Almighty, the Praiseworthy, 'the one' to Whom belongs the kingdom of the heavens and earth. And God is a Witness over all things. Those who persecute the believing men and women and then do not repent will certainly suffer the punishment of Hell and the torment of burning.

In the context of these verses, there is a detail in Sahih Muslim (7511). Companion Suhaib reported that once Prophet Muhammad told him that a boy once worked for the king (Dhu Nuwas) as a magician. The boy was still learning and he daily visited the experienced magician. Every day, the boy met a monk on his way to the other magician. The monk taught the boy about faith in God, God's Mercy and God's rewards in the afterlife. Upon listening to the monk's talk daily, the boy accepted Christianity and restored his faith in God. The young boy started to convey the truth to the people of the city. As he learned the magic, he started to cure the sick with the permission of God. The king on hearing this, demanded the boy be killed. However, God saved the young boy whenever they planned to kill him. The boy told the king that if he wants to kill me, he has to gather all the people of the city and shoot an arrow while saying 'In the name of God, the Lord of this young boy'. The king accepted the boy's demand and did the same. On seeing that the young boy was killed in the name of God, the people of the city realised that the boy was on the true path. All the people that were standing there, accepted Christianity. The king was furious. The king ordered his men to dig big ditches and fill them with fire. Then the king ordered the believers to return to their original religion or else they will be thrown into the fire. The believers refused to leave their religion and all of them were thrown into the fire. A mother, thinking of her child, was reluctant to go into the fire. It happened so, that her child spoke and told her that 'Mother, this is the truth'.

God never forgets His people for God is the most Merciful. 

Prophet Muhammad might have met the Antichrist

Antichrist is a common figure between Christianity and Islam. Termed as 'the greatest trial for mankind', Antichrist has been prophesied by all of the Prophets till date (Prophet Noah to Prophet Muhammad). As said in the both Islamic and Christian narrative that Antichrist will appear in the end times, there might be a possibility that Antichrist lived throughout Prophet's lifetime on Earth. We get this idea from an event that took place during Prophet Muhammad's lifetime.

Ibn Sayyad's character was very mysterious. He lived in Medina during Prophet Muhammad's lifetime. Many of the companions of Prophet believed Ibn Sayyad was Antichrist to the extent that, once companion Omar asked Prophet to allow him to kill Ibn Sayyad. Prophet replied that if Ibn Sayyad is Dajjal then you won't be able to kill him. Nobody exactly knew where Ibn Sayyad came from however, Ibn Sayyad's mother was also present in Medina. Ibn Sayyad also had children. Ibn Sayyad had much common with that of Dajjal but there were a lot of differences such as appearance and Dajjal's inability to enter in Makkah and Medina.

The hatred of the companions of Prophet towards Ibn Sayyad was justified. On one occasion, when Prophet asked Ibn Sayyad that, do you believe me as Prophet of God to which Ibn Sayyad sarcastically replied that, do you believe me as a Prophet of God. Ibn Sayyad was possibly a Jew but later it is said he accepted Islam. However, his conversion to Islam did not see many companions trusting him as they still believed him to be the Antichrist. The behavior of the companions of Prophet Muhammad towards Ibn Sayyad was based on the evil claims that Ibn Sayyad made. It is reported that he said that he was not the Antichrist but afterwards he said that he wouldn't mind if he was. Again on some other occasion, he said that he was not the Antichrist but afterwards he claimed that he knew the exact location of the Antichrist. These evil comments were the reason that companions of the Prophet Muhammad distanced themselves from him.

It is said that Ibn Sayyad disappeared during Battle of al-Harra. It is not sure whether he was Dajjal or not as Prophet (SAW) didn't tell us so. Apart from being Dajjal or not, some scholars say he might have been some sort of Devil. Only God knows better.

Was Judas Iscariot crucified in place of Jesus?

Judas Iscariot, notorious for his betrayal to Jesus, was one of the twelve original Apostles of Jesus Christ. In the New Testament, Judas is said to be the person who handed Jesus over to the Jewish priests. Christians hold the view that Jesus was crucified and hearing the news of Jesus' crucifixion, Judas committed suicide. However, According to the Islamic tradition, Jesus was never crucified, instead of that, someone else was replaced with him at the time of crucifixion. As stated in the Holy Quran(4:157)

And for their saying, “We have killed the Messiah, Jesus, the son of Mary, the Messenger of Allah.” In fact, they did not kill him, nor did they crucify him, but it appeared to them as if they did. Indeed, those who differ about him are in doubt about it. They have no knowledge of it, except the following of assumptions. Certainly, they did not kill him.

 

Judas Iscariot

It is clear in the Islamic view that God does not allow anyone to kill His Messengers. Allah explicitly States in the Holy Quran that Jesus wasn't killed or crucified rather it was appeared to them as if they killed him. Theologians and Historians may have concluded something about the Words 'but it appeared to them as if they did'. These Words might mean that Judas was in fact the person who was crucified in place of Jesus. Jesus ascended to the Heavens alive whereas Judas was temporarily given the features like of Jesus and when the Roman soldiers came for Jesus, they took Judas. So, Judas was the actual person who was crucified rather than Jesus. Where this explanation sounds perfect for the Islamic narrative, there isn't any verse or narration of Prophet Muhammad to support this claim. Only God knows better.

Why does Israel want to destroy the Al-Aqsa Compound?

Everyone knows that Israel wants to rebuild the Temple of Solomon(A.S) but not many people know that there is another reason why Jews are eager to destroy Al-Aqsa and that is the Ark of the Covenant.

Judaism and Islam are two of the three Abrahamic Religions. Where these two have differences in belief, they have many similarities as well. Jerusalem is of much importance to respective religions as many of the major Prophets of God were sent there. In Islam, Al-Aqsa Mosque situated in Jerusalem is the third holiest mosque for Muslims. Whereas, for Jews, Jerusalem was the capital of the Jewish kingdom.

Temple of Solomon(A.S)

Jews believe that the First Temple was built under the reign of Prophet Solomon(A.S) and the Temple was also called the Temple of Solomon. The main reason this Temple was built was to place the Ark of the Covenant inside it to honour the Ark. Ark of the Covenant remained in the Temple until 587 BC. The Babylonian attack destroyed the Temple and since then the Ark has been missing. However, the Temple was rebuilt in 516 BC on the same location where the First Temple was built. The Second Temple was also destroyed in 70 AD by the Roman Empire. The Jews since then believe that a Third Temple will be built at the same location where the first two Temples were built. But at that location, today, Temple Mount and Al-Aqsa Mosque are present. Even if the Al-Aqsa is destroyed today, Jews have a belief that the Temple cannot be built without the command from God so they are waiting for a Messiah who will direct them about the Third Temple. So, if the Temple cannot be built now then what exactly are Jews after. The answer is the Ark of the Covenant.

Ark of the Covenant

Ark of the Covenant is one of the greatest mysteries of human history. A golden chest box was built by the Israelites for carrying the tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written. It was placed in the Temple of Solomon(A.S) until 587 BC when Babylonians attacked and the Temple was destroyed. Since then Ark of the Covenant has been missing. The significance of the Ark to the Jews is the same as the Kaaba to the Muslims. The main reason the Temple of Solomon(A.S) was built was to place the Ark in it. Such significance of the Ark has driven Jews for thousands of years to look for it. There are many theories about the location of the Ark and one of them is that the Ark was never taken out of Jerusalem and it is still there beneath the Temple Mount. Although research is not allowed in Temple Mount, Jewish scholars believe that the Ark is somewhere underneath it and they believe that it rightfully belongs to them. Talking about the significance, the Ark of the Covenant is also mentioned in the Holy Quran(2:248).

And (further) their Prophet said to them: “A Sign of his authority is that there shall come to you the Ark of the covenant, with (an assurance) therein of security from your Lord, and the relics left by the family of Moses and the family of Aaron, carried by angels. In this is a symbol for you if ye indeed have faith”

Nation of Islam has nothing to do with Islam!

There isn't any type of racial discrimination in Islam. An Arab has no superiority over a non-Arab and a white person has no superiority over a black person.

Louis Farrakhan

The guy in the middle is Louis Farrakhan. He is leading the Nation of Islam since 1977. You might have heard of this group but if you are an Asian, there is a very less chance of you knowing this group.

Nation of Islam

NOI is an organization founded by Wallace Fard Muhammad in 1930. Like its name, the followers of NOI claim that the group is based on Islam but the beliefs of NOI will shock you. The followers of NOI believe that God manifested Himself in the form of Wallace Fard Muhammad. They believe Wallace Fard Muhammad was the Messiah of Christianity and Mahdi of Islam. This belief is opposite to the actual belief of Islam which is based on Tawhid. When Christians claimed divinity for Jesus Christ, this is what God revealed in the Quran(5:17)

In blasphemy indeed are those that say Allah is Christ the son of Mary. Say: "Who then hath the least power against Allah, if His will were to destroy Christ son of Mary, his mother, and all every - one that is on the earth? For to Allah belongeth the dominion of the heavens and the earth, and all that is between. He createth What He pleaseth. For Allah hath power over all things.''

This verse is present in the Holy Quran and the followers of the Nation of Islam who claim themselves to be Muslims are believing 180 degrees opposite of that.

Elijah Muhammad

Wallace Muhammad led the Nation of Islam till 1934. He preached his Islam to his followers, but one thing that was prominent in his teachings was the anti-white ideology. His followers believed that white persons were devilish and they were created by a scientist named Yakub about 6000 years ago. When Wallace disappeared in 1934, Elijah Muhammad(student of Wallace) announced that Wallace had gone and he was the successor of Wallace. He announced himself as a Prophet which is against the real Islamic teachings. In Islam, Muhammad(PBUH) is seen as the last Prophet sent by God. Elijah had influenced many in his time including the likes of Malcolm X and Muhammad Ali.

Warith Deen Muhammad

After the death of Elijah, his son Warith Deen Muhammad took the charge in 1975. However, he knew that there were contradictions between the teachings of his father and the real Islamic teachings. He was against the anti-white ideology and wanted the followers of NOI to be more close to the global community of Islam. He also taught his followers that Wallace was not divine and his father Elijah was not a Prophet. Because of this, many followers left him and joined the new Nation of Islam led by Louis Farrakhan. This Nation of Islam was formed on the same beliefs as Elijah Muhammad had.

Louis Farrakhan is the current minister of the Nation of Islam. He still believes that God came in the form of Wallace Muhammad and Elijah Muhammad is the Prophet of God. 

In this video, Louis says that he believes that there is no God but Allah which is totally right but then he goes on to say that Allah came in person in Wallace Fard Muhammad. He also says that Wallace was the Mahdi and the Messiah. These beliefs are totally wrong and unacceptable in Islamic doctrine. 

If we see collectively, these beliefs of divinity and the theory of white people being devilish was only introduced by the Nation of Islam to glorify Black People and to make them superior to the white. Nation of Islam is totally opposite to that of Islam in terms of beliefs.

Jack Parsons' dream of the Anti-Christ

Jack Parsons was an American rocket engineer and a chemist. He was interested in rocket fuel and invested his time in studying rocket propulsion outside the Stratosphere. He was part of the rocket building squad known as Suicide Squad at the California Institute of Technology. Later, he was written out from most of NASA's history because of his relation to one of the occult religions. He was very much involved in Devil worshipping and black magic and all the other stuff related to that.

It was found in his writing about himself that he had an encounter with the Dajjal or the Anti-Christ. He had a dream of a person who said to him "Your progress on rocket fuel is gonna help my work". Jack asked that person about who he was to which he replied I am Belial Armillus Al Dajjal. Belial is a Hebrew word used for an entity that is wicked or worthless whereas Armillus is believed by Jews as an Anti-messianic figure and Dajjal is an Arabic name for the Anti-Christ. He also wrote that Dajjal was working through him. Jack said that the power of the Devil will soon overcome the influence of Abrahamic religions in the world.

In his last days, it is said that he visited Israel and shared some information. The American government was chasing him but he died in a blast during an experiment in his laboratory.

    

Did she hear voices from the Angel?

Can a person communicate with something out of this world? There is no explanation for that, however, there have been several cases reported.

One of those unexplainable cases is the case of a woman who lived in London in 1984. One night while she was reading, she heard a voice that said

Please don't be afraid. I know it must be shocking for you to hear me speaking to you like this, but this is the easiest way I could think of. My friend and I used to work at the Children's Hospital, Great Ormond Street, and we would like to help you.

The woman got so frightened that she went to see her doctor thinking that she had gone mad. The doctor thought that it was a case of mental illness and asked her to see a Psychiatrist. The Psychiatrist offered her some medications and she was feeling well after a couple of weeks of treatment. She went abroad for a holiday where she again heard those voices asking her to return to London. The voices asked her for a brain scan. She knew that she was taking the medications and she became sure that these were not some hallucinations.

She went back to London to the address that the voices had given her. The address that she was given was of a computerised tomography department of a large London hospital. When she reached there, the voices told her that she has a brain tumour and asked her to go for a brain scan. She had a brain scan and it was revealed that she has a brain tumour. The surgeons dissected the tumour out but she heard the voices again after the operation that said

The voice then disappeared after the final goodbye. The woman was saved from a brain tumour without having any complications. But who saved her? Was it a Guardian Angel or just hallucinations? Well, no one is sure about that as there are not many cases like it reported from which conclusive explanation can be answered. 

Are Lucifer and Iblis names of a single Entity?

Satan or Devil is an example of evil in every religion. In Christianity, Lucifer is believed as the central demonic figure whereas, in Islam, Iblis is the king of devils. There are many similarities in both figures which concludes that Lucifer and Iblis are the names of the same entity.

Lucifer

Lucifer is the name of the devil in Christian texts. When God created the Heavens, he created the angelic beings which inhabited the Heavens. Among these angels were the archangels Gabriel, Michael and a perfect, the most beautiful creation of God, Lucifer. Lucifer having that many qualities became proud and wanted to take over God's Throne. He placed himself above God. In his effort to become the Lord, he took on the heavenly beings to conquer Heaven. He was defeated by the strong force of Archangel Michael. Lucifer was expelled from heaven and he was transformed into Satan. But Lucifer did not stop there, in order to avenge himself, he attacked humans(the biggest creation of God) and convinced Eve to taste the forbidden fruit resulting in the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. Christians believe that Lucifer tries to divert those who are on the right path to Paradise.

Iblis

The view of Iblis is not of an angel but a Jinni(a creature made up of smokeless fire). Iblis was a very pious creature and submitted to God. When the angels defeated the rebellious Jinn, Iblis was among those Jinn but because of his piousness, he was allowed in Heaven and started to live among the angels. When Allah created Adam, He ordered all the angels to bow before Adam, everyone did so except Iblis. Iblis having free will refused to bow before Adam. Iblis felt he was superior to Adam as he was created from fire and Adam was created from clay. Iblis, because of his arrogance was expelled from Heaven. Iblis asked Allah for time till Judgement Day. Iblis, from the time of his expulsion from heaven till Judgement Day has only one mission that is to disturb humans from the right path of Allah.

Similarities

Iblis and Lucifer were regarded as very high beings before their expulsion from Heaven. Iblis and Lucifer were expelled from Heaven because of the same reason that is arrogance and pride. They both became Satan after being kicked out of Heaven. They both are against God. They both try to divert humans from the right path of God.

Conclusion

Along with the similarities, there are some differences between them as well. In Christianity, Lucifer is believed as a fallen angel but in Islamic concepts, Iblis is considered a Jinni(who has free will) but not an angel as angels do not have any free will. So, we can conclude that Lucifer and Iblis are the names of a single entity but because of the reason that many people over the ages have added stories in the Gospel and the Bible. The text of the previous heavenly books has been corrupted by humans. Thus, everything written in the Bible is not true. The only Word of God present today in its original form is the Holy Quran.

The first woman: Eve or Lilith?

Adam and Eve are firmly accepted in Abrahamic Religions to be the first man and woman ever created. It is widely believed that Eve was created by God from Adam's rib. However, in some Jewish folklore, Lilith is assumed to be Adam's first wife and is believed that she was created by God from the same clay from which Adam was created. She is assumed to be mentioned in the Book of Isaiah 34:14. In Jewish mythology, she is recognized as a demonic figure as she went against God's plan and left the Garden of Eden because of her issues with Adam.

Lilith did not submit to her husband's commands and left the Garden and settled near the Red Sea. She was demonized as she turned her back towards the Creator. God upon noticing that Adam felt lonely, created a new wife, Eve from Adam's rib. Eve submitted to her husband's command. Upon seeing, Adam and Eve living happily in the Garden of Eden, Lilith became envious. She turned into a serpent and forced Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit which resulted in the expulsion of Adam and Eve from the Garden of Eden. 

Modern-day feminists see Lilith as a courageous figure who stood for her rights and equality against Adam. 

However, the existence of Lilith is not found anywhere in the Christian Bible and the Quran. Eve is believed to be the first woman ever created.

Was Ertugrul a Muslim?

Ertugrul is nowadays one of the most famous historical figures in Pakistan and is regarded as a very pious leader of Turks. He is said to be the father of Osman I who was the founder of the Ottoman Empire. Ertugrul has gained popularity in Pakistan because of its TV series Ertugrul Ghazi which is seriously admired by the people of Pakistan. However, few people know that the TV series itself is mostly based on fictional events that never happened and in fact, approximately nothing is known about the life of Ertugrul. Because of the uncertainty about the life of Ertugrul, it is unknown whether he was a Muslim or not.

Ertugrul Ghazi

Dr Muhammad Uzair in his book Daulat-e-Osmania mentions that Suleiman Shah and Ertugrul were non-muslims and the first person to convert to Islam was Ertugrul's son Osman. However, some claims suggest that Ertugrul was a non-muslim but then he reverted to Islam after migrating to Anatolia(Seljuk Empire).

The Cambridge History of Turkey by Resat Kasaba is available in four volumes. The first volume deals with the period from 1071 to 1453 C.E and Ertugrul's name is mentioned only once on page 118.

Professor Suraya Farooqi who holds authority on Turkish and Ottoman history mentions that the existence of Ertugrul is independently attested by a coin of his son Osman.

Coins from the time of Osman I

The image shown above are coins supposedly from the time of Osman I. One coin reads as (Minted by Osman son of Ertugrul) while the other coin reads as (Osman bin Ertugrul bin Gunduz Alp). This coin opens another mystery about Ertugrul's father. According to this coin, Ertugrul was the son of Gunduz Alp.

The uncertainty about Ertugrul's father and his religion is only because of the reason very little is known about the life of Ertugrul. Only Allah knows best but Ertugrul will always be remembered as the father of Osman I who was the founder of the Ottoman Empire. The Ottoman Empire is considered one of the largest empires in history which existed for 600 years.
